Behold, I stand at the door and knock.

If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,

I will come in and eat with him

and he with Me.

As a child she attended Sunday school at the Apostolic Church, Beancroft Road, Castleford, where the first seeds of the Christian faith were sown. Since becoming a Christian she has been divinely inspired to write these Christian poems, which she hopes will fulfil, in part the command that was made to her at her baptism on the 9th June 1991.

"You did not choose Me, I chose you and appointed you to
go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And
so the Father will give you whatever you ask of Him in My
name."
                                                                     John 5:16

I ask God from the wealth
of His glory to give you power
through His Spirit to be strong
in your inner selves, and I pray
that Christ will make His home
in your hearts through faith. I
pray that you may have your
roots and foundation in love,
so that you, together with all
God's people, may have the
power to understand how broad
and long, how high and deep, is
Christ's love. Yes, may you come
to know His love (although it can
never be fully known) and so be
completely filled with the very
nature of God.

EPHESIANS 3: 16-19.
